These are handmade (forged) japanease ikebana scissors. The distinctive blade is razor sharp and perfect for cutting plants - ideal for pruning branches,roses,flower and houseplants.
The entire process is done by hand, and the handle is colored by baking in a heating oven, so no chemicals used in general painting are used.
